From the American Revolution to today’s extraordinary advances in education, medicine and biotechnology, greater Boston has always been at the forefront of innovation and change.  Franklin Park Zoo and Stone Zoo have had great success in recent years - opening exciting new exhibits at both parks while steadily growing attendance - and now we have the opportunity to build these two local cultural treasures into internationally recognized, state-of-the-art institutions.   These world-class zoos will be uniquely effective in teaching science to children, enlightening visitors as to the interconnectedness of all forms of wildlife and inspiring the next generation of conservation activists.  One only needs to look into the eyes of a child as he or she experiences the wonder of standing just inches away from a gorilla at our extraordinary, recently-renovated exhibit at Franklin Park Zoo to understand the unique impact we have.
