Free Fun Friday at Franklin Park Zoo Sets Attendance Record!
On Friday, July 9, more people walked through the gates of Franklin Park Zoo than any other single day in the history of Zoo New England! In total, 17,230 people visited Franklin Park Zoo, free of charge, as part of the Highland Street Foundation's Free Fun Friday program. Roar like a lion, pose like a camel and flutter like a butterfly
The 15-year yoga veteran and creator of OmGal.com will lead three 45-minute outdoor classes for adults and children (any child younger than age 7 should be accompanied by an adult); demonstrating healthy poses that are beneficial to the body and fun for all ages! Event is FREE with regular paid admission.
Session times:
11:00 a.m. - 11:45 a.m.
1:00 p.m. - 1:45 p.m.
Please note: Class attendees are asked to bring their own mats or towels and meet on the grass near Serengeti Crossing. Please visit this page to see if class is cancelled due to the weather forecast. This event will not be rescheduled.
Everyone’s a kid at the Zoo!Don’t miss the new “Kids’ Price Saturdays!”
Feel like a kid again when visiting the Zoos! From 10:00 a.m. - noon on the first Saturday of every month, all guests will be charged the children's admission price ($8.00 at Franklin Park Zoo and $7.00 at Stone Zoo).
