Franklin Park Zoo Birthday Parties

Calling all party animals! Zoo New England wants to help you host your next birthday party at the Zoo. A variety of birthday party packages are available and  great for children of all ages.    Remember: Your party time is when you eat food, enjoy cake and sing “Happy Birthday” - you can explore the Zoo before and after your party!

Do-It-Yourself Includes: - Room - Tables - Chairs Cost: Non-member ($100.00 per hour); Member ($90.00 per hour) - Minimum of 1 hour rental Weekday rates (M-F, excluding holidays): Non-member ($75.00 per hour); Member ($50.00 per hour) Event date must be on or before 3/31/10 to receive winter rate. Discounted group admission rate: Adults $10.00, children $6.00 seniors $9.00 and children under 2 are free. Members enter for free with their membership card.

Jungle Journey (1.5 hours)

Includes:
- Room
- Tables
- Chairs
- Admission for 15 children 5 adults
- Food (personal pan pizza , a bag of animal crackers, a juice box - children only)
- Themed tableware (green solid colored tablecloths, themed plates, themed napkins, themed  cups, and utensils)

Weekday Rates (M-F excluding holidays): Non-Member ($325.00); Member ($270.00)

Rainforest Quest (2 Hours)

Includes: - Room - Tables - Chairs - Admission for 15 children 5 adults - Food (personal pan pizza, a bag of animal crackers, a juice box per person – children only), - Themed tableware (green solid colored tablecloths, themed plates, themed napkins, themed cups, and utensils) - Animal encounter - 45 Rides tickets – 3 rides tickets per a child to be used for train, carousel and safari jeep ride. Available Party Times and Venues

Parties can be held between 10:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. during the summer and 10:30 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. during the winter, everyday of the week. Franklin Park Zoo offers events at the Meeting Barn (indoor, near petting zoo, holds 75 people), the Tropical Forest Classroom (indoors, located in Tropical Forest, holds 100 people), the Outback  Pavilion and Beech Grove (outdoors, 40 x 40 tent and picnic tables provided, holds 150 people - seasonal April to October).

Animal Encounter

Zookeepers are available for animal encounters during birthday parties. A zookeeper will bring one animal for 20 minutes and discuss its background and other fun facts.  Guests may be allowed to pet certain animals.
