The third annual Jonathan Gilmour Memorial Fund Ride and Walk is a fundraiser that will be held in Hollis, NH on Saturday, May 8, 2010. Beginning and ending at Hollis' historic Lawrence Barn. The ride component of the event features three routes - of ten, twenty-five and fifty miles - that wind through the beautiful back roads of Southern New Hampshire and are specially-designed for cyclists ranging from beginner to expert. For those who prefer walking, there will be directions for a marked 3-mile walk along lightly-traveled roads starting and ending at the Lawrence Barn. The event will culminate with a festive picnic for all riders, walkers, volunteers, as well as families and friends of the participants.

The success of the 2010 Gilmour Ride and Walk will create even more opportunities for members of the Zoo community to pursue conservation projects, education opportunities, research initiatives and other wildlife-focused efforts in the coming years – further perpetuating Jonathan’s passion for wildlife and helping to educate and inspire the next generation of conservation activists.
