Celebrate Pollinators in our organic garden
Visit the Organic Garden Project and learn about the big role pollinators play in healthy ecosystems. This all-day event kicks off with a presentation from BestBees on the importance of native pollinators. Then JP local artist, Carolyn Lewenberg will lead participants in building a native bee “hotel” for the garden. Children will have the opportunity to create “seed balls” to take home, with plants to support bees, butterflies and hummingbirds!
Talk with exhibitors from local conservation organizations to learn how you can contribute to a healthy planet and preserve the Earth.
