Please note: Volunteers, Zoo employees and local emergency responders will take part in a routine animal escape drill on Wednesday, April 26 at Franklin Park Zoo, and Thursday, April 27 at Stone Zoo. These routine drills are an important part of our preparedness training. While the drill is occurring, guests will be able to participate in the evacuation portion, and may be asked to move to certain areas within the Zoo for a brief period of time (not to exceed 10 minutes). Event takes place rain or shine!

Feel like you’re in a fairy tale during Princess Day at Stone Zoo! Meet your favorite princesses, enjoy arts and crafts and meet with the zookeepers to learn more about the animals who live at the Zoo. Kids are encouraged to wear their favorite fairy tale inspired outfit!

  • Meet the Princesses, 11:30 a.m. - 2:30 p.m.
  • Reindeer and Ice man photos, 12:00 - 2:00 p.m.
  • Crafts and activities, 11:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.
