Warm up in the Tropical Forest

Franklin Park Zoo

Weekends in January and February, 11:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.

Looking to shake off the winter cold? How about a trip to the Tropics?

Did you know that the Tropical Forest at Franklin Park Zoo is kept at a balmy 72 degrees year-round? This tropical oasis is home to western lowland gorillas, ring-tailed lemurs, Linne’s two-toes sloth, free-flight birds and more!

Don’t miss our Education Station each weekend in January and February! From 11:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. Zoo educators will have interesting biofacts and exciting activities to help us learn more about the animals that call the Tropical Forest home!
