 Aviary

Aussie Aviary

In the Aussie Aviary, feeding the animals is encouraged! Hundreds of brightly colored budgerigars, affectionately called budgies, flutter through this free-flight exhibit. If you’re lucky, the birds will land on your seed stick and let you keep them company while they enjoy a little nibble.

Cost: $3/stick

Aussie Aviary is currently open weekends through September 28 (weather-permitting) from 11:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.

Camelride Box

Playground2

Playground

With 10,000 square feet to let children’s imaginations run wild, we’re serious about playtime. With designs inspired by the wildlife that inhabit the Zoos, kids can frolic among giant fish, slip down a giraffe-like tube slide, and "hop on" a Panamanian golden frog spring rocker.

Our playground incorporates fitness challenges, promotes positive social interaction, encourages negotiating skills, and uses play to teach about conservation and wildlife. Rubberized ground cover makes it safe and accessible for all children.

Open regular Zoo hours.

Rhinorescue

Rhino Rescue 6D

Riders are fully immersed in the action through 3D film, motion simulator seats, and atmospheric special effects for a heart-pounding 6D experience that drives home an important conservation message.
