About the Siberian Crane
Siberian cranes have been revered in Asian culture for millennia because of their long life spans—an average of 40-45 years. These striking wading birds are all white with black primary flight feathers and a brick red face. Courting Siberian cranes engage in a complex ritual that includes dancing and unison calling, a coordinated series of calls that strengthen their pair bond.
