Join the effort to support the Zoos!

There has been extensive media attention focused on Governor Patrick’s line-item veto of the Zoos’ funding in the FY10 budget.  We have been encouraged and inspired by the tremendous outpouring of support for the Zoos from people throughout the Commonwealth and across the country.

Here’s what you can do to join the effort to restore this funding and to help ensure a bright future for our Zoos.

Learn the whole story!  We received a lot of questions indicating that many people are confused as to details of this situation.

Donate today!  Zoo New England, the not-for-profit organization that runs both Franklin Park Zoo and Stone Zoo, is – like many zoos across the country - a public-private partnership.  The Zoos need sufficient funding from the Commonwealth AND contributions from the many people who care about the Zoos, our education programs and, of course, our beloved animals.  Please click here to donate today!
