In-Kind Donations 

 

In-kind donations are a unique way to support Zoo New England. These donations can be goods or services, and are used for animal enrichment, educational presentations, administrative purposes and more. In-kind donations help defray Zoo costs and provide a great way to put your unwanted goods or skilled services to use! 

Listed below is Zoo New England's Wish List of new or lightly used items. Please contact the Development department at 617-989-3760 to make a donation or for more information. In-kind donations are tax deductable as allowable by law.

Wish List for Franklin Farm at Franklin Park Zoo

  • 10’ x 10’ shed
  • Cross ties
  • Grooming items including brushes and hoof picks

  • Hoof trim sharpeners
  • Horse shampoo
  • Horse Superstall Mattress System – this will be used for Jenny, our female donkey
  • Ice Horse boots for hooves – one pair
  • Nelson heated water bowl (N730 – 10 WS) – one
  • Reitsport cold shin and tendon boots – one pair
  • Stall gates – These gates will enable our guests to see the horses from inside the barn. Ideally, we would like six stall gates but even two would make a big difference.
