Massachusetts EBT and WIC cardholders receive general daytime admission for $5 per person, for up to four people. Offer is valid for Massachusetts residents through Dec. 31, 2024. 

Online Tickets: To receive the EBT/WIC discount for online purchases, you will need to verify your eligibility prior to purchasing your tickets. You will be prompted to log into or create an account with ID.Me to verify your identity and EBT/WIC affiliation. For help troubleshooting the Id.me application, please visit the ID.me Help Center.

Gate Tickets: If purchasing tickets at the gate, please be ready to present your card at the Admissions booth upon arrival.

Military:

All active military personnel and their dependents receive a 50 percent discount on general, daytime admission. Active military personnel also receive discounts on membership.

Teachers:

Teachers who are part of MTA, BTU, or AFT- MA chapter receive a 50 percent discount on general, daytime admission. Teachers also receive discounts on membership. Please be ready to present the appropriate ID for each individual. Offer available at admissions gate for in-person rates only, not online tickets. 

Reciprocal Memberships:

Members of many AZA accredited institutions receive a 50 percent discount on general, daytime admission. 

To use the library discount, you must present the physical library ticket at the Zoo's admission booth. Reservations are not required for this discount. Please note: we will not accept any confirmation emails; you must have the physical ticket. Check with your library about when to pick up the pass, as many libraries are closed on weekends. Library passes are good for daytime admission only.

How do I retrieve my ticket?

Tickets purchased online are delivered to the email address provided (please allow up to one hour for receipt). Please note, your emailed receipt is not your ticket. You will need to download your barcoded tickets from your email and present them at the Admissions booth. 

How does online pricing work?

With Plan-Ahead Pricing, you can pick the date and time that works best with your schedule and budget. The further in advance you purchase tickets, the more you’re likely to save! 

• Children under age two are free.
• A $1.50 processing fee applies per ticket.

After you click the "Buy Tickets" button above, you'll see available dates/times and the respective ticket prices. Each day’s prices are determined by a number of factors, including attendance patterns, popular holidays/events, day of the week and weather.

Are these the final prices or it is possible for the price to go down?
The current price listed online will always be the most affordable option for the selected date. It is possible that the price may increase over time.

Can I still buy tickets at the gate?
Buying tickets online in advance saves you time and money. If available, general admission tickets may be sold at the gate at both Zoos. Prices will be higher at the gate, so we recommend buying your tickets online in advance.

How far ahead do I need to purchase tickets in order to save?
We recommend buying tickets online at least 24-hours in advance. An advance purchase online ticket offers the lowest price for the date of your visit.

If I have already purchased tickets, can I visit on another day?
All ticket sales are final and cannot be moved to other dates. Please make sure you are able to attend your reserved slot at time of purchase.

Does this affect membership rates?
No, the cost of membership is not affected by plan-ahead pricing, and you can apply your daytime general admission receipt toward the purchase of a membership within seven days! Membership is always the best deal - members enjoy free admission to two Zoos for one low price! A valid ticket is required for Zoo entrance for each visitor. Tickets are one-time-use only and valid for the date and time noted. Tickets purchased online are only valid at the location indicated at time of purchase. Tickets are non-refundable, have no cash value, cannot be used for private or after-hours events and cannot be combined with any other offers. There is no re-entry to the Zoo after your ticket has been scanned.
