Peacock Place Gift Shop, located across from the river otter exhibit, offers unique gifts and souvenirs for animal lovers of all ages.

Hours:
April 1 through September 30:
Weekdays, 10:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
Weekends, 10:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m.
October 1 through December 3:
Daily, 10:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.
January 1 through March 31:
Daily, 11:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.
During our ZooLights event:
Daily, 5:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m.

The Safari Grill offers a selection of wraps, sandwiches, burgers, fries, and many other kid-friendly foods.

Hours:

  • April 18 - August 31: Weekdays, 10:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.; weekends, 10:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m.
  • September 1 - 30: Weekdays, 11:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.; weekends 11:00 a.m.  - 5:00 p.m.
  • October 1 - 31: Weekends only, 11:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.
  • November 1 - March 31: Closed for the season, with the exception of our ZooLights event, during which the grill is open daily, 5:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m.

The Peacock Place Gift Shop sells snacks and beverages year-round.

Picnic Areas
There are plenty of outdoor picnic tables where you can bring your own food to the Zoo and eat.
