John J. Linehan President’s Fund

John J. Linehan, Zoo New England’s President & CEO since 2002, is celebrating 40 years of service to the Zoos! To honor his commitment to Zoo New England’s mission, we have established the John J. Linehan President’s Fund. This fund will serve as a legacy and a symbol of what clear vision, hard work, and fierce commitment can accomplish. All donations directly fund projects that will advance the Zoos’ conservation, education, and research, and are of high priority and special importance to our President.

To make a donation to the John J. Linehan President’s Fund in honor of John’s 40 years at Zoo New England, click “Give Now” below and note his name in the tribute section on page two so we know you’d like to celebrate John!

Give Now

John’s passion for wildlife and conservation is deeply entrenched and led him to pursue a degree in Wildlife Management from the University of Maine. Not long after graduating, he began his career at Zoo New England, putting his love for animals and commitment to saving species to work as he made his way up the ranks. Now, as President, John oversees the care of hundreds of animals and the management of a dedicated team of employees and volunteers at Franklin Park Zoo and Stone Zoo. Under his strategic leadership, we are transforming Zoo New England into the world-class institution that the Greater Boston Area deserves.

Thanks to his vision, we continue to add exciting new exhibits, expand our education and conservation programs, increase attendance, and ensure a strong financial foundation for the future. Thanks to John’s upbeat direction, our staff work enthusiastically together to make each visit to the zoos memorable, educational, and fun!
