Our ZooKids program at Franklin Park Zoo transforms curiosity into adventure!
We offer a variety of age-appropriate, themed education programs to inspire young children's curiosity and appreciation for wildlife and the natural world. Programs include up-close animal encounters, zoo exploration, games, crafts, and more.
March: Zippy Zookeepers (Ages 2 - 4, Stone Zoo)
Zookeepers sure do a lot to take care of the animals! During this ZooKids program, we'll take a walk in a zookeeper’s shoes as we learn about what it’s like to care for animals!

April: Remarkable Reptiles (Ages 2 - 4, Stone Zoo)
Turtles, tortoises, snakes, lizards – there are so many kinds of remarkable reptiles! During this ZooKids program, we'll snake our way through the zoo as we learn all about our reptile friends!

Learn about local and exotic pollinators. Kids will have the opportunity to explore the Zoo, make a craft, and meet one of our ambassador animals!

May: Creepy Crawly Critters (Ages 2 - 4, Stone Zoo)
Have you ever wondered what it would be like to have six legs? Can you imagine what the world looks like through the eyes of insect? During this ZooKids program, we'll learn all about creepy crawly critters, and what makes us similar and different!
