Field Trips

Our Zoos are free to Massachusetts students, grades K-12, Monday through Friday during the regular school year. Kindergarten classes are required to bring one adult chaperone for every five students, while grades 1-12 are required to bring one adult chaperone for every ten students. These required adults receive free admission. Standard adult group rates apply for additional adults. Any students with special needs are allowed a 1:1 adult for free.

Free trips are not available for camps, daycares, or after-school programs.

Please note, any payment due must be paid for upon arrival at the Zoo. We are unable to accept purchase orders or provide invoices for payment at a later date. Refunds for overpayments will not be issued and cannot be applied toward future trips. Any overpayment will be considered a donation to the Zoo.

Contact our Education Department for information on educational programming and tours available during your visit (additional fees apply).

Reservations must be made at least two weeks in advance of your arrival date.
Book early, as some days fill up quickly! Visit our Group Reservations page to make a reservation.
