Be sure to visit the education station inside the Tropical Forest, where you’ll learn about the amazing adaptations of animals during the cold winter months. We'll also have fun winter-themed activities, crafts, zookeeper encounters and much more for you to explore!

Schedule of Activities:

  • 10:30 a.m. - 1:30 p.m. – Arts & crafts
  • 11:00 a.m. – Red panda zookeeper chat
  • 11:30 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. – Storytime & mystery animal encounter
  • 1:00 p.m. - 1:30 p.m. – Storytime & mystery animal encounter
  • 1:30 p.m. – Zebra zookeeper chat

Stone Zoo

Snow leopards (including two cubs born in May!), North American river otters, black bears and reindeer are just a few of the incredible animals that call the Zoo home. You'll have the opportunity to learn more about some of the Zoo’s residents and ask questions directly to the staff about how they care for animals during the colder winter months. Warm up in the Animal Discovery Center and get up close during animal encounters.
