Celebrate Earth Day with fun and engaging activities to raise awareness for the planet and the role we all play in ensuring it remains healthy and thriving for generations to come. Talk with exhibitors from local conservation organizations to learn how you can contribute to a healthy planet and preserve the Earth. Other festivities include opportunities to meet the zookeepers, animal enrichment, hands-on activities, and much more!


  • 10:30 a.m. – Bat
  • 11:00 a.m. – Bird's World Keeper Chat
  • 11:00 - 11:15 a.m. – Strike your best animal pose during a yoga session with instructor, Meghan Braley (Location: near Children's Zoo)
  • 11:30 a.m. – Kangaroo
  • 1:30 p.m. – Giraffe
  • 2:00 p.m. – Gorilla Keeper Chat and Forage Feed
  • 2:30 p.m. – Red panda


Calling all conservationists!

ZNE's Grassroots Wildlife Conservation invites you to help preserve our local rare and declining species. Come outside with us, roll up your sleeves, and meet some amazing turtles, toads and salamanders. Learn more!
