September Sundays with Sun-Maid

Every Sunday in September, bring in an unopened, unexpired Sun-Maid product to our admission booths to receive a free kid’s admission ticket to the Zoo! Sun-Maid will then generously donate these products to the Greater Boston Food Bank.*

Franklin Park Zoo: September 12 and 26
Stone Zoo: September 19

During your visit to Franklin Park Zoo, let your imaginations run wild in Nature’s Neighborhoods Children’s Zoo, where you can navigate your way through a grass maze, “pop up” to greet a prairie dog, or climb into a giant eagle’s nest for a bird’s eye view of the Zoo. Be sure to stop by the Tropical Forest, where you can come face to face with ring-tailed lemurs, pygmy hippos, and western lowland gorillas.

At Stone Zoo, journey to the Caribbean Coast in our walk-through aviary, Flamingo Flats. Here, you’ll be greeted by this striking feathered flamingo flock, scarlet ibis and colorful macaws. And be sure to visit Windows to the Wild to meet our adorable new Linne’s two-toed sloth baby, born on July 31st

Hands-on Fun

  • Test your knowledge of the Zoos' animals with a Sun-Maid scavenger hunt!

*Please note: Kids (one per party) receive free daytime admission to Franklin Park Zoo or Stone Zoo on the day of their visit along with the purchase of an adult admission ticket and the donation of a Sun-Maid product.
