Virtual Event
During ZOOcation week, get close to some amazing ambassador animals, right from the comfort of your own couch! Join us virtually for a wild week of animal encounters and educator-led crafts and activities, live from both Franklin Park Zoo and Stone Zoo!

From scents to spikes and color to camouflage, we'll learn all about the amazing defenses animals have to stay safe! Get comfy at home as you virtually join zoo friends and meet our amazing animals at both Franklin Park Zoo and Stone Zoo. You'll learn all about their adaptations and take part in educator-led activities and crafts.

Do you have what it takes to be a zookeeper? Learn about the different aspects of animal care, like monitoring animal behavior, creating diets, and so much more! Stay comfy at home as you virtually join zoo friends and meet our amazing animals at both Franklin Park Zoo and Stone Zoo.

Calling all safari guides! Learn all about animals that live in the savanna, while discussing their threats and the conservation work being done to save these species! Stay comfy at home as you virtually join zoo friends and get to meet our amazing animals at both Franklin Park Zoo and Stone Zoo.

Take a deep dive into the world of animal adaptations, and get a chance to see them up close through a microscope! What makes sloth fur so unique? How do owl feathers assist with silent flight? Stay comfy at home as you virtually join zoo friends and meet our amazing animals at both Franklin Park Zoo and Stone Zoo. We will get to learn all about their adaptations and take part in educator-led activities and crafts. Please note: you do not need to have a microscope at home to attend this program.

Explore the world of animal enrichment, and you'll even get a chance to make some of your own!
