Virtual Event

During ZOOcation week, get close to some amazing ambassador animals, right from the comfort of your own couch! Join us virtually for a wild week of animal encounters and educator-led crafts and activities, live from both Franklin Park Zoo and Stone Zoo!

Monday, April 19: Slimy and Scaly

Today we're focusing on species that don’t always get a lot of love – scaly reptiles and slimy amphibians! We'll learn about the differences between reptiles and amphibians, and what makes them such incredible creatures!


Tuesday, April 20: Tropical Tuesday

Let’s spend vacation week in the tropics! Learn about amazing animals that call this paradise home.


Wednesday, April 21: Zoo Detectives

Calling all detectives! We'll hone our investigation skills as we work together to solve a zoo mystery!


Thursday, April 22: Conservation ZOOper Heroes

Let’s celebrate Earth Day together by being ZOOper heroes for wildlife conservation!


Friday, April 23: Enrichment Extravaganza

What do spices, paper bags, puzzle feeders, and paper mache have in common? They’re all types of animal enrichment! We'll explore the world of animal enrichment, and even get a chance to make some of our own!
