Blanding's Turtle Nest Survey
When: Sunday, June 16, 6:00 p.m.
Where: Great Meadows National Wildlife Refuge Concord Unit, GPS Coordinates
Join our biologist out in the field while we radio track adult females from the Blanding's turtle population at Great Meadows.
Blanding's turtles nest in the evening so this opportunity will take place beginning at 6:00pm. The goal for nest surveying is to find females in their journey up to land to lay their eggs, so we can protect her nest!
