About the Tonkin Bug-eyed Frog

statusImg.Name

Class: Amphibia
Order: Anura
Family: Rhacophoridae
Genus: Theloderma
Species: corticale

These frogs are found in flooded caves in northern Vietnam. They're semi-aquatic, spending most of their time in and around bodies of water. Their mossy-looking skin provides them with excellent camouflage in their habitat. These frogs will often attach themselves to rock crevices, appearing to be moss. If threatened, they'll curl up into a ball in an attempt to further blend into their environment.
