Get ready to grow something amazing this spring! 🌱 

Free tree registrations have closed for the season. The deadline was March 15th. If you registered, pick-up is between April 22 - 25.

We’re inviting local residents of all ages from Dorchester, Roxbury and Greater Boston to embrace their inner arborist with a free tree sapling giveaway. In partnership with Neighborhood Forest, we’re helping expand tree canopy across these neighborhoods—one backyard at a time. 

Residents can sign up to receive a sapling and pick it up at Franklin Park Zoo between April 22–25, outside the Zoo’s Giraffe Entrance. Our horticulture team will be on hand to share simple tips on planting, care and how to help your new tree thrive.

Whether you’re a seasoned gardener or planting your very first tree, it’s a fun and meaningful way to make a lasting impact for our neighborhoods and the environment.
