Flamingo: Stone Zoo (Starting April)

Are you ready to mingle with the flamingos? Join us on the Caribbean Coast to get up-close and personal with some of our more charismatic and friendly flamingo ambassadors. You'll have the opportunity to participate in a training session and feed our flock a healthy snack!

  • When: April - October, Daily, 12:30 - 1:00 p.m.
  • Where: Stone Zoo (Meet at Main Entrance)
  • Who: Ages 4 and up
  • Price per person: Members: $50 | Non-Members: $60

  • Guests may come in contact with fish oils. Please be advised if you have a shellfish allergy.

  • This experience can get a little splashy (and maybe a bit messy), so we recommend planning your attire and footwear accordingly.

Giraffe: Franklin Park Zoo (Starting April)

Learn more about our Masai giraffe family in this once-in-a-lifetime experience! From a shaded overlook, you’ll come face-to-face with the world’s tallest mammals and even have the opportunity to feed them a healthy snack.

  • Who: Ages 4 and up

Penguin: Franklin Park Zoo (Starting July)

🐧 The penguins are on their way! While their new habitat is under construction, you can still give the gift of penguins with a Penguin Experience gift certificate—redeemable starting July 2026.

Waddle into your next adventure with the newest residents of Boston—African penguins! Known as “jackass penguins” for their donkey-like calls, these curious, social birds are full of personality. Join us inside the new Penguin Coast habitat to learn about these amazing animals and Zoo New England’s work to help protect penguins in the wild.

Red Panda: Stone Zoo

Prepare to be bamboozled by the undeniable cuteness of these ring-tailed rascals! For a limited time, our resident red panda from Franklin Park Zoo has settled into his temporary home at Stone Zoo. Also known as the "firefox," "bear-cat," or "first panda," this ancient species is full of unique characteristics! You'll have the opportunity to participate in a training session and feed our red panda a healthy snack!

  • When: Daily through March, Tuesday - Sunday, 10:00 - 10:30 a.m.
  • Where: Stone Zoo (Meet at Main Entrance)
  • Who: Ages 4 and up
  • Price per person: Members: $100 | Non-Members: $125

Reindeer: Stone Zoo

Join us for an up-close, hands-on experience with our reindeer! Discover fascinating details about the myths and legends of reindeer, and if they really pull Santa’s sleigh. You'll even have the opportunity to feed our reindeer a healthy snack!

Not so fast, it's tortoise time! Hang out with Stone Zoo's African spurred tortoises in this up-close and personal feeding experience! Learn all about our shelled superstars while you feed them some tasty produce.
