Franklin Farm

Health & Safety Update
For the health and safety of our COVID-sensitive animals, everyone is required to wear a mask to enter the petting area. Guests must also use hand sanitizer before and after visiting this area.

Experience farm life in the middle of Boston! This warm-weather exhibit features a petting zoo, where children can see and touch friendly goats. Explore the brooder building, where newly-hatched chicks keep warm, and visit the chicken coop to greet several species of older chickens. The main barn houses ponies, Guinea hog, donkeys, sheep and goats. And keep an eye peeled for our resident barn cat, Waldo!

Petting Zoo Hours:
Weekends, 10:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. through October 31
Hours are weather dependent and can change based upon animals' needs
