Franklin Park Zoo’s indoor Tropical Forest building will become a botanical wonderland, featuring hundreds of orchids, alongside animals that share the same habitat. From rare species to exotic hybrids, Orchid Adventure promises a radiant experience that brings the intricate beauty of orchids and the intrigue of the animal kingdom together.
Orchids from Central America will be showcased alongside cotton-top tamarins, a giant anteater and green anaconda. Plants from West Africa and Madagascar will highlight conservation stories where habitats overlap with western lowland gorillas, pygmy hippos and ring-tailed lemurs. This year, the exhibit will also feature orchids native to Tropical Asia. Throughout this immersive adventure, discover vital connections between these stunning flowers and the species that share their habitats.

Nestled among the lush bloom of Orchid Adventure, guests will find 20 intricate LEGO® displays on loan from the LEGO Discovery Center Boston. These life-size sculptural pieces consist of hundreds of LEGO bricks, with delicate petals and stems blossoming from a decorative pot. The Discovery Center's Mini Model Builders™, aged 5 – 12, took hours to construct the displays. See if you can find them all!
