On Thursday, April 25 at Stone Zoo, we will be conducting a routine animal escape drill. These drills are an important part of our preparedness training. While the drill is occurring, guests will be asked to move to certain areas within the Zoo for a brief period of time (not to exceed 10 minutes). We will do our best to have minimal impact on the guest experience. We are very dedicated to safety and we appreciate your participation. If you have any questions about what to expect, please do not hesitate to contact us at 617-989-2000 or info@zoonewengland.org.

It just got easier (and greener) to visit the Zoo! Hubway Bike Share System opens at Franklin Park Zoo

Hubway W FPZ SignHubway can now be found at Franklin Park Zoo!

The new Hubway station is part of the region's popular bike-share program's expansion into new areas across the city, including: Brighton, Dorchester, Charlestown, South Boston, and Fenway.

Hubway allows users to rent and pick up a bike from one location and drop it off at another location. Franklin Park Zoo's location at the end of the Emerald Necklace will provide riders with a green-friendly way to access the Zoo, while enjoying a ride through Olmsted's historic and beautiful parks.
