On Thursday, April 25 at Stone Zoo, we will be conducting a routine animal escape drill. These drills are an important part of our preparedness training. While the drill is occurring, guests will be asked to move to certain areas within the Zoo for a brief period of time (not to exceed 10 minutes). We will do our best to have minimal impact on the guest experience. We are very dedicated to safety and we appreciate your participation. Help Zoo New England get free advertising in the Boston Globe

All Globe subscribers receive vouchers for varying amounts of GRANT (Globe Readers and Nonprofits Together) dollars, which you can then submit on behalf of your favorite non-profit (Zoo New England)! In order to receive a free ad in the Boston Globe, we need a minimum of at least $1,000 in GRANT dollars, which we’ll use to promote our mission.

The deadline to submit your GRANT dollars is April 30, 2019.

What you can do:

  1. Visit the Globe GRANT website.
  2. Enter your Boston Globe subscriber number. If you don't know it, you can email grant@globe.com or call customer service at 1-888-694-5623.
  3. Select "Zoo New England" as your favorite nonprofit from the list.
  4. Share with other subscribers!
