Giving Tuesday

You can help care for Zoo families this #GivingTuesday!

Thank You!

Thank you for helping us raise over $20,000 for critical animal care! That's a lot of healthy meals, veterinary exams, and engaging enrichment. We are so grateful for everyone's participation on this global day of giving and hope to see you at the Zoos soon!

On this global day dedicated to giving back, charities, families, businesses, and caring individuals like you came together for one common purpose: to celebrate generosity and to give to the causes they care about most.

Make a Donation

At Zoo New England, care is at the heart of everything we do, and donations to our All for Our Animals Fund are dedicated to providing critical daily care for the animals you know and love.

This giving season, as you join together with your family for the holidays, we invite you to join us in supporting animal care for Zoo families of all shapes and sizes!

While some of our animals prefer to celebrate solo, you can see families of all kinds on a trip to your Zoos. Franklin Park Zoo is home to African lion brothers, Dinari and Kamaia, our young Masai giraffe family, Amari, Chad, and little Alika, our western lowland gorilla troop, and more. Black bear brothers Smoky and Bubba, our Mexican gray wolf brother pack, and our Linne’s two-toed sloth family, Lunesta, Nero, Siesta, and Taco, all call Stone Zoo home.

Your #GivingTuesday donation of any size will go directly toward healthy diets, expert veterinary care, and stimulating enrichment activities for all our animal residents.

Here are just a few examples where your support is needed:

  • $25: A week’s worth of apples, carrots, and sweet potatoes to complete our black bear brothers’ balanced diet – every year they each eat over 200 pounds of apples alone!
  • $50: Jolly Ball scented horse toys for environmental enrichment that can be hung in the giraffes’ stalls to encourage foraging for their favorite nutritious treats.
  • $100: Enough bones to satisfy both our lion brothers three months!
  • $250: Feed our youngest gorilla, Pablo, the nearly 300 pounds of collard, kale, and romaine greens he’ll eat this year!
  • $500: A three-year physical for one of our two-toed sloths, including bloodwork, x-rays, ultrasounds, and vaccines to stay healthy.
  • $1,000: Can do all of the above, and qualifies you for membership in our President’s Circle Giving Society with a Founder-level Membership to visit Franklin Park Zoo and Stone Zoo all year long!

Thank you for your generous gift to care for animals this #GivingTuesday!
