Enjoy a once-in-a-lifetime trip to observe jaguars in the Pantanal, the wild heart of Brazil, with Great Beyond Adventures and Zoo New England!
 
Join travel host Dave Caron, Zoo New England's Vice President of Development, for an 11-day adventure through Brazil's most pristine wildlife habitats. From jaguar-spotting in the Pantanal to exploring the breathtaking Amazon rainforest and the iconic Iguazu Falls, this is a journey like no other!
 
Itinerary:

• Day 1-2: Arrive in Cuiaba and overnight at Hotel Deville Prime Cuiaba (or similar)
• Day 2-5: Head to North Pantanal, overnight at Aymara Lodge (or similar)
  • Embark on a full-day jaguar safari, exploring the Cuiaba River by boat to search for jaguars, giant otters, capybaras, and more.
  • Enjoy hikes, canoeing, bike safaris, and excursions led by expert bilingual guides.
• Day 5-6: Return to Cuiaba and fly to Manaus, overnight at Blue Tree Premium Manaus Hotel (or similar)
• Day 6-8: Amazon adventure at Juma Amazon Lodge (or similar)
  • Experience sunrise excursions, jungle hikes, canoe trips, and local cultural encounters with native communities.
  • Learn about Amazonian wildlife, participate in piranha fishing, and explore the incredible biodiversity of the rainforest.
• Day 9-11: Head to Foz do Iguaau, overnight at Saint George Hotel (or similar)
  • Explore the world-famous Iguazu Falls on both the Brazilian and Argentine sides, with panoramic views of the waterfalls and lush surrounding jungle.
  • Optional visit to the Bird Park for a unique look at local fauna.

Trip will have one guide to every three patrons, and no more than 12 patrons total in travel group.
