School Programs at the Zoo

Make your field trip an adventure in learning! From self-guided activities that encourage exploration to up-close animal encounters and engaging educational programs, there are plenty of ways to spark curiosity, bring classroom lessons to life, and make lasting connections with wildlife.

Self-Guided Opportunities

Groups of all sizes can explore the zoos at their own pace with our self-guided activities, free-of-charge! Use our Amazing Adaptations Field Trip Packet to learn while at the zoo, or to start or conclude your adaptations unit! Print our Field Trip journals for your students to take notes during their field trip!

Express Meet and Greet

30-minutes, up to 50 students

Add on an animal encounter to your field trip for up to 50 students per program. Your students will have the opportunity to meet one ambassador animal up-close and ask questions to our Zoo Educators. Students and chaperones can join and leave at any point throughout their encounter - the perfect program for groups on-the-go with a lot to see at the Zoo! Additional students will require additional programs.

Meet and Greet

30-minutes- up to 25 students

Your students will have the opportunity to meet two ambassador animals in the presentation-style program! These presentations are the perfect opportunity to deepen classroom learning and make real-life connections to some of the ambassador animals at the zoo. Additional students will require additional programs.
