General Admission: $90/member | $100/non-member 

Gather your family and friends for a flavorful evening of food, drinks and fun at the very first Bourbon and BBQ at Stone Zoo! Enjoy a full smoky barbecue meal complete with sides, dessert, drinks and vegetarian alternatives. 

Stroll the zoo with a drink in hand! Sip and savor with bourbon and whiskey tastings, and enjoy a refreshing signature Kentucky mule (mocktail option available) crafted by Sol y Sal—all while exploring the wild side of Stone Zoo after hours.

Plus, enjoy up-close animal encounters and lawn games throughout the evening.

Please note: Stone Zoo will close at 4:00 p.m. on June 21 in preparation for this event.

FAQs

What is included in my ticket?

Your ticket includes food, drink, as well as a chance to see the animals. 

How early can I enter the Zoo with my event ticket /Does it include normal zoo admission for the day?

Bourbon and BBQ ticket holders will be able to enter the Zoo at 6:00 p.m. Please be aware that IDs will be checked at the gate.

Bourbon and BBQ tickets do not include regular daytime Zoo admission. If you would like to visit the Zoo during normal operating hours, you will need to purchase a regular zoo admission ticket

What if I won't be drinking alcohol? Do I still need to buy a ticket?

Yes, a ticket and an ID are required for everyone attending the event. 

Will there be non-alcoholic beverages at the event?

Yes, additional drinks will be available for purchase at the Yukon Creek Cafe and the Trading Post. Complimentary water will also be available throughout the Zoo.

Where do I park?

Parking is free at Stone Zoo! The Zoo’s parking lot is directly in front of the entrance, off of Pond Street.

Are backpacks allowed at the event? 

Back packs or personal bags larger than 12"x12" will not be permitted. All bags are subject to search.

What do I wear to the event?

Please dress comfortably for a fun evening at the Zoo – remember the event is rain or shine.

What's the age limit? Do I need an ID?

Bourbon and BBQ is a 21+ event. IDs will be checked at the gate. Children and infants will not be admitted. This is for insurance and liability reasons.

Will the event be held in inclement weather?

Yes, the event is held rain or shine – please make sure you dress comfortably for the weather.

Do I need to bring my own glass?

No. Each guest will be provided with a sampling cup.

Is this event raising money for the Zoo?

Yes! Bourbon and BBQ ticket sales and merchandise sales help us raise money to benefit Zoo New England’s operation and continued growth, its education programs, and conservation initiatives.

Can I receive a refund?

No, ticket sales are final. The event is held rain or shine.

What methods of payment will be taken at the event?

Cash or credit (Visa, MasterCard, Discover or Amex) will be taken at the event. Checks may be made out to Zoo New England.

When is last call?

Samples will be available until 7:45 p.m.

May I bring an infant or young child with me?

No. Absolutely no one under 21 years of age is allowed at Bourbon and BBQ. This is for insurance and liability reasons.
